Bringing Baby Home

A Workshop for New & Expecting Parents

This research-based 2 day workshop for couples helps new and expectant parents prepare for life with baby and be the best parenting team possible. In a relaxed and supportive environment, parents learn to build on their friendship and foster baby’s healthy social, emotional and intellectual development.

Designed by renowned parenting experts, the Bringing Home Baby workshop uses a series of presentations, exercises and entertaining stories & videos to help couples enjoy greater relationship satisfaction and decrease risk of postpartum mood disorders.

Class size is limited and advance registration is required. The fee is $180* per couple including take home materials & snacks. Lunch is not provided. You may bring newborns (up to 6 months) to class. Call 864-298-8026 or email audra@baylaureltherapy.com to register or for more information.

Social Skills Group

Social Skills Groups are being offered for older children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety, high-functioning autism, Asperger's DO, PDD NOS, ADHD, and similar challenges. The hour-long group sessions will be held weekly throughout the summer. A completed application and an initial screening ($50) by the therapist are required before the group begins. Each group session is $20.

Groups will form and be scheduled according to participant ages and needs.

Monthly Support Group:
Traumatic Childbirth Support Group

Open to any woman that has had a distressful birth experience. Do you have flashbacks or nightmares about your baby's birth? Do you try to avoid thinking about childbirth or the hospital stay? Are you unusually irritable, angry or sad?

If so, you are not alone.What you are going through is real and there is hope for healing.

Professionally lead support groups offer a chance to meet others facing similar issues, can help you cope better and feel less isolated.

This group is FREE and meets the first Tuesday of each month from
6:30pm-8:00pm at Bay Laurel Center for Psychotherapy 110 Manly Street – Greenville, SC 29601.
